SpeedLab Performance intakes use only genuine K&N cone filters for optimum performance and maximum filtration. K&N high flow filters offer superior air flow and minimal restriction when compared to stock paper air filter and are guaranteed for life. SpeedLab performance intakes are designed specifically for their intended applications and feature proper mass air flow sensor mounts that are guaranteed not to throw a check engine light.
Each intake has undergone rigorous R&D and each application is dyno tested to insure that it delivers the actual real performance improvement and not just hot air. All SpeedLab K&N intake systems use mandrel bent tubing for a 100% bolt on installation.
Our Ford Focus intake is a true long tube cold air intake, with the air filter away from the engine bay. The long tube provides a greater volume of air that increase throttle response and power.

FAQs
Q: Will this really make power?
A: Yes it will! Otherwise it would be kinda pointless to sell it.
Q: How often do I clean the filter?
A: K&N recommends every 10,000 miles or 16,000 kilometers or simply once a year.
Q: How do I clean the filter?
A: You will need the K&N cleaning kit and there are a ton of YouTube videos on how to clean the filter by yourself
Q: Doesn't your filter come with a heatshield?
A: Truth be told, it's not really needed. It makes the same amount of power with or without a heat shield.
Q: Will your intake give a CEL (check engine light)?
A: No it won't.
Q: What's the tube made of?
A: Stainless steel or aluminum.
Q: Is there a difference in the material?
A: In terms of performance, nope. If you want the nitty gritty of it, aluminum is 30% lighter than stainless steel, but the weight savings of a few grams is pretty much negligible.
Q: I have a ___________ filter, can I just buy the tubing?
A: No you can't. We're not being greedy here. Primarily we don't know what your filter is or the condition, so we can't guarantee the performance if you don't get the whole kit. Plus some filters actually lose power like Simota.
Q: Do you have a short ram version?
A: We actually do, its simply the filter and the upper pipe P8,500
Q: I'm concerned about flooding, will the filter suck up water?
A: We have developed a bypass valve (P2,500) that will open should the filter head become submerged under water, offering a last line of defense against flood crossings. But go into a flood deep enough and the car will suck in water, intake or no intake. A little common sense is needed and inconveniencing yourself and others is a lot cheaper compared to a blown engine.
Q: What's the warranty?
A: K&N has a 1,000,000 mile warranty on the filter itself.
